Fire Danger Information
Due to several years of drought, Western Wyoming is at severe risk of wildfire this summer.
Hoback Ranches residents should observe Bridger Teton Forest fire restrictions. These are posted on signs across Hwy 191 at the entrance to the ranches and are broadcast on the radio. Please insure that guests are properly informed.
Current extreme fire danger means
- No campfires
- No open fires
- No fireworks
- No smoking except in enclosed spaces
- Use of chainsaws with spark arrestors and welding ONLY if chemical fire extinguisher is present
